Hi! Uuhh this is my first time making a request but I was wondering if you have any headcanon for Hogan?
Hogan HCs! (I'm so sorry for being late)
Hogan is a busy man, unfortunately. He hates not being at home with you.
At the same time, he’s also a workaholic. You’re probably the only reason he takes vacation days at all. He guards those days with his life.
You are considered the Guard Mama, and are given special privileges whenever you come over, or if the guards see you walk around Holistone. Salutes all around.
If you just started dating, the guards are kind of gobsmacked that Hogan of all people has a lover. And they keep trying to find out more about you. Hogan is a solid steel wall in the matter though, even if his face gets tenderly soft thinking of you.
Hogan is a very gentlemanly-if a bit awkward-lover. Kind of the sort of man who is strict on the outside and melts whenever you’re around. Dude is a dyed in the wool bachelor before you came around, too busy with the military life to really get into relationships. Please be patient.
Dates are very simple, quality time sort of deals, sometimes it’s just the two of you in his office, sharing kisses as he works and you do your own thing.
Not a PDA starter, and can be a bit iffy about you starting it, but that’s mostly because his face gets a bit too red for his liking when you give him a kiss on the cheek in a crowd.
The most he says is a firm “I love you.”, but it’s stated as such a fact that it’s very flustering. The farther into the relationship he is, the more direct he becomes, and the more likely this happens.
Very affectionate behind closed doors. Also a big spoon. He likes to protect you.
However, there are nights where the pasts of war come to haunt his dreams. He’s very grateful if you cuddle against him.
On that note: Super protective! But not in the way you’d expect. He’s the sort to want to be your bodyguard, or pack your bags and make sure you’re safe. You’re one of the reasons why he remains as Magistrate. And any concerns you may have are investigated by him personally. To an extent, of course. Can’t play favourites too much.
In terms of marriage, on one hand, he’s not getting any younger. On the other hand, he’s not sure you two even need to get married. He’s already devoted his life to you, after all. He has a long conversation with you about the topic. Depending on what you decide, he gets a ring that very day.
Valen teases him about you so much. He gets so many menial chores as a response. Dude never learns.
