Merlin Headcanons!
Oh Merlin should not be taken seriously. No one realises they’re Merlin just from their mannerisms. They’re just the slightly eccentric mage with the hamster fixation and the giant camel. If they don’t mention it, or even show off their magic, no one notices. I like to think that there is a legend about how Merlin lives in a constantly moving magical creature, but most people imagine it as a massive dragon or a turtle flying in the sky, not a cozy tavern on a sea-camel.
In a relationship, I think they’re rather thoughtful. Giving you gifts you like, or telling you stories about their travels. When you talk, you know they are listening and taking you seriously. At the same time, they’re not above having a little fun, or teasing you. It’s like being in love with your best friend.
I think Merlin appreciates knowing more about you, especially after losing their memories. They probably want to remember everything about you too. Especially since...
Well, it’s likely they’ll live far longer than you will.

The next morning, it was so early that the sun hadn't even risen.
When Adventure Waddle Dee woke up, there was no one in his room.
The Waddle Dees were staying together in a large hotel room. But they were nowhere to be seen.
Adventure Waddle Dee became worried.
"Where did they all go? Are they working early in the morning?"
Was it that he was the only one who wasn't told where they were, or even woken up, because that day was the day he would be leaving the Waddle Dee Squadron?
It couldn't be helped, but he still felt a little lonely.
Adventure Waddle Dee picked up the bag he had packed the night before and left his room.
"I have to say goodbye to the Great King one last time. I also want to say goodbye to the Waddle Dee Squadron, but... I wonder where they all went..."
Thinking this, he went down the stairs.
King Dedede and the Waddle Dees were all gathered in the hotel lobby.
Adventure Waddle Dee was surprised.
King Dedede said.
"You're late, sleepyhead. I'm tired of waiting."
"What!? What!? Oh, good morning, Great King! What's wrong...?"
"Humph, this is your send-off. Be grateful."
Bandana Waddle Dee said with a smile.
"King Dedede planned it. We all wanted to see you off."
"The Great King...? Ah, thank you!"
Adventure Waddle Dee bowed deeply.
King Dedede said with a sulky look on his face.
"Don't say anything unnecessary. Rather, you guys have a plan you've thought of."
"Here you go!"
Bandana Waddle Dee stepped forward and handed something to Adventure Waddle Dee.
Adventure Waddle Dee put down his bag and took it with both hands.
"Is this... a hat...?"
"Yeah. We all thought about it together. We were wondering what kind of present we should give to you, since you’re going to be a crew member of the battleship Halberd."
Weapon Waddle Dee said.
"I thought a strong weapon would be good, but it's dangerous to have an unfamiliar weapon, and the King said it was too early."
Bandana Waddle Dee said.
"So we decided to give you a hat that looks like it would suit a ship's crew member. We all quickly came up with designs and made it together. Try it on."
Adventure Waddle Dee put on the hat.
The Waddle Dees all applauded in unison.
"Wow, it suits you, it suits you!"
"That's cool, Adventurer!"
Tool Shop Waddle Dee turned to show him a mirror.
Adventure Waddle Dee looked at the mirror and blushed red.
The hat that was given to him as a gift was a white sailor's cap with a blue ribbon tied around it.
It fit Adventure Waddle Dee's head perfectly and looked very cool.
"Ah… Thank you! Thank you so much, everyone!"
The Waddle Dees were moved to tears.
"We'll miss you, but take care, Adventurer."
"We'll see each other again, right? Come visit Castle Dedede with Sir Meta Knight."
"Goodbye, Adventurer!"
In response to the heartwarming voice, Adventure Waddle Dee waved his hands with all his might.
"Thank you everyone! Farewell!"
Adventure Waddle Dee rushed there out of breath, without slowing down even a bit.
To a small airship parked on the outskirts of town.
It was the vehicle used for the journey to the Battleship Halberd. All preparations were complete, and the ship was ready to take off.
The time for takeoff was approaching. The time spent saying goodbye to his friends had gone on a little too long.
A large figure was standing on the airship's gangway. It was Captain Vul.
Captain Vul yelled roughly.
"You're late! Being late means you'll lose points!"
"S-s-sorry... come on...!"
Panting, Adventure Waddle Dee climbed up the gangway.
Captain Vul carried Adventure Waddle Dee's small bag.
"Come on, do your best! If you fall, I'll leave you behind!"
"Y-Yes…!"
Adventure Waddle Dee held down his hat, which was in danger of falling, and followed Captain Vul.
When the hatch door opened, it was filled with a dazzling light.
Adventure Waddle Dee, who had run through the dimly lit town, squinted his eyes because it was so bright.
A shadow standing in the bright light held out its hand to Adventure Waddle Dee.
"I've been waiting for you, Waddle Dee."
"…Ah…"
Adventure Waddle Dee took the hand as if jumping in.
Meta Knight said with a smile.
"From today, you are one of us. A crew member of the battleship Halberd — Sailor Waddle Dee. I look forward to working with you."

You are so well protected. You never have to be in any sort of uncomfy situation with her around.
Anyone that bothers you immediately runs away smelling of smoke while Mirael is taking care of you. If you don’t like confrontation, then she’s the epitome of “They’re not looking at you, they’re looking at me.”. She’ll distract them and keep you at her side.
Mirael is definitely using her height to fluster you though. If you want, she can teach you a few spells to make life a little easier, but that might lead to a little, light teasing. Her favorite thing to do is to lean over until her hair and her hat completely blocking everything else, as she smiles at you with that familiar spark in her eyes.

Eironn is very graceful and gentlemanly when it comes to romance. Though this is very much not intentional. Most of his demeanour comes from genuine care and love, and only a small part of it is from how he was raised. He’s like a knight, sweeping off your feet. Dude is so sweet he gives you and everyone else cavities.
