Hogsmeade Station: Hogsmeade Station is the main train station for all non-first year Hogwarts students. In addition, this station is for the visitors of Hogsmeade Village. This station is on the opposite side of the Hogwarts grounds which makes it a far distance away from Hogsmeade Village. Hogsmeade Station is right next to the Black Lake. Just like Platform Nine and Three Quarters, this station is not visible to muggles. This train station has a couple of small buildings and one large one. The large building is the resting place for the train conductor. At the end of the platform there are boats that are secured to a dock for first year students. Not that far from the buildings are the entrance gates to Hogwarts which are positioned in a clearing of the Forbidden Forest. “Horseless” carriages then take the students to Hogwarts Castle. Hogsmeade Station was built in the 1800s’ after the Hogwarts Express was first introduced as the main mode of transportation for Hogwarts students.
