I don't know whether this is a new addition in the lastest update or not, but I found it interesting...
My MC was in Hogsmede near the Hogs Head and Amit was there (not as part of the quest I was doing) and he said something along the lines of "It's good to see you outside of the castle" and my MC responded "You too Amit" and then he apparated soon after.
Other than the Welcome to Hogsmede quest with Sebastian, I've never seen another character NPC from Hogwarts until now on my second playthrough.

Hagrid's Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure is a perfectly fine premise, I guess
Like, it would be better with a story, instead of a series of forgettable random encounters
But "Hey Hagrid's gonna show us a bunch of cryptids?"
That's a good starting point!
It's just
Why does it need to be a roller coaster?
First of all, it's the same mistake as Thunder Mountain: an audience can't appreciate a scene if they're zipping through it at thirty-five miles an hour
Secondly, it wastes soooo much real estate
Like, it's nice that they've added a bunch of greenery to Hogsmede
But they could've fit more than one dark ride in that space
And now that I think of it? "Hey Hagrid's gonna show us a bunch of cryptids" would be a million percent cooler if it was just a walk-through
Set your own pace, plenty of places to stop and rest and hang out, a bunch of animatronic cryptids hidden amid the sets (in the style of If I Ran the Zoo)
No hyperbole: I would buy an annual pass for an attraction like that
HPHM Locations as described by a 2-year-old:
East Towers, West Towers, and Dungeons: “A Castle! Wow, more castle!”
Forbidden Forest: “It’s daaaaaaaark!!!!”
Hogsmede: “Wow snow!”
Zonko’s: “Toy store?”
Castle Grounds: “Oh a witch” (pointing to the students flying broomsticks)
Dorm Room: “Wow! A owl! And frog!”
Herbology Classroom: “Plants?”
Charms Class: “Those kids.” I then pointed to Flitwick to say he was the teacher, then when I got a star and the frame changed kiddo was all “WHERE TEACHER?”
