“I’ve heard from one of the little ones that some older students are terrifying the first years ; can I count on you to keep an eye on the common room tonight while I go and deal with them ?” Elia said as they were getting their things for transfiguration class. 

She could tolerate a lot of things but anything close to bullying would absolutely forbidden as long as she would be in Hogwarts. Especially in Hufflepuff : it was a pretty shameful to do for them. The older kids probably did not realize the impact of their actions, anyway she hoped so. 

“The fifth years are driving me mad, honestly.”

“Does that require pants?”

“Normally I think it does.“ Musichetta replied, smiling at him with her eyebrows furrowed, denoting a certain surprise. “As far as I can remember, transfiguration class did require pants. I think prof. McGonnagall would turn you into a pig if you showed up nude from the waist down.”

“You should go to class,” she said, trying to sit up in her bed only to fall back on her pillows. Ellaria was well aware of how exhausted she was on the days after the full moon. Her and Ashara were the only ones who knew about her “time of the month” (this was how they called it. at least, it did not look suspicious) apart from Oberyn, of course. 

All in all, Elia felt blessed she was sorted in Hufflepuff. Her friends had been nosy, but only for her own good. They were nothing else but helpful, sometimes too helpful for their own sakes.

“All I’m going to do is sleep, I think. You’ll get in trouble if you miss...”
