“You should go to class,” she said, trying to sit up in her bed only to fall back on her pillows. Ellaria was well aware of how exhausted she was on the days after the full moon. Her and Ashara were the only ones who knew about her “time of the month” (this was how they called it. at least, it did not look suspicious) apart from Oberyn, of course. 

All in all, Elia felt blessed she was sorted in Hufflepuff. Her friends had been nosy, but only for her own good. They were nothing else but helpful, sometimes too helpful for their own sakes.

“All I’m going to do is sleep, I think. You’ll get in trouble if you miss...”

Every step he took was cautious. Every breath calculated. One wrong shift of weight and he could ruin the entire hunt. Paw-pads pressed into the soil with extreme care, green eyes locked onto his target with no intention of leaving; the rams busy grazing to pay attention to the mass that approached them from the shadows.

Aside from the sounds of the leaves swaying with the breeze, Bull could hear something. He stopped dead in his tracks, snout crinkling as his black nose twitched erratically. It was hard to make a werewolf lose focus just like that but..

Too light to be a ram. Or.. was it? No.. he couldn’t smell anything out-of-the ordinary..

Not yet, anyways.

He’s running, no, sprinting.

On all fours.

He’s in mid change- huffing through nostrils as his bones rearrange and his features change in just mere seconds. A blur of brown and gray- zig-zagging around trees as the rest of him accommodated the sudden switch of appearance. Bones ached and gums itched, but he had no choice. He’s been caught. Humans were hunting him for his pelt, surely. He wouldn’t be able to run for long-- Mabari barking in the distance. His heart’s racing, pounding in his pointed ears.

He’s breathing through an open maw now, eyes wide, paws slamming against the dirt in an attempt to gain traction and send him barreling through the woods faster. 

Nonono-

Long limbs carried him swiftly, despite his husky width and his taut musculature. He was built for attack, but today? Today the werewolf was unprepared. The hunter, was being hunted.

In his panic, he fails to notice the trap splayed across his path--

CRACK!

A hind leg’s been caught, harsh, metal teeth tearing into flesh- pain shooting up his leg, ankle snapping, bone breaking. Blood stains some of his pelt, trickling in hot beads as he forcibly turns himself around. It earned a loud cry of pain as fur bristled and lips curled, Iron Bull having no choice but to fight the Mabari that now charged in his direction. All for naught, perhaps. If the humans caught up to him.

because I mentioned it in a thread, Elia making blanket forts in the puff common room when the lil ones need cheering up.

(at first everyone acts like they’re too cool for it but it soon turns into a party tbh)

Potions: Outstanding. She loves it, and works very hard at it. Kind of a Martell trait, but she is more interested in healing potions than Oberyn would be for example. // and in werewolf verse she needs to be able to brew wolfsbane, and will be.

Transfiguration: Exceeds expectations. It requires a lot of concentration, she loves it but sometimes her exhaustion interferes. 

Charms: Outstanding. She is mostly good at protection charms. 

Defense against dark arts: Acceptable. She barely passes, the practical stuff is usually too much for her and she tries to make up for it by learning the theory by heart.

History of magic: Exceeds expectations. She finds it interesting and easy to study since it’s mostly learning stuff by heart. 

Astronomy: Acceptable. She usually sleeps through the classes and copies Ashara’s notes afterwards. /// In werewolf verse, she just had a pass so she doesn’t have to go. 

Herbology: Exceeds expectations. She is actually really good at knowing every plant and their properties to the point that it would deserve an O, but she loses points because the physical parts are too difficult for her. 

Care of magical creatures: Acceptable. Again, theory is fine but practice is a little difficult, even if the animals that do not require force are alright. // In werewolf verse some tend to react strangely to her as well, so she pretends she is too scared to approach them. 

Study of runes : Exceeds expectations. It’s rather easy and fun to her, and she could get an O if she had the energy for it.

Nevermind that Wolfsbane was one of the hardest potions to brew. Elia was good at potions, one of the best students among the sixth year. She had been spending months trying to gather every book she could find on the subject ; even taking unnecessary risks to sneak in the Restricted Section of the library at night (like she wasn’t out at night enough already...). 

She had not told anyone. It was something she was doing for herself, and her friends helped her so much already... She was afraid that they would be even more upset than her shall she fail.

Not only it was a tricky work, but some of the ingredients were way ahead of what Hogwarts students owned. And there she was, out of her bed, in the Potion Professor’s office scavenging what she needed and hoping that she would not get caught. This was Oberyn material normally, not her. Though Oberyn would just do it for the thrill of it, and she did it because she had no other choice.

She listened to the door before taking a step outside -- it was silent enough.

“Nox.” 

She had to have a chance to hide if there was someone.

She did not see that someone, but she bumped into him. This voice, she recognized.

“Lumos. What the-- ? Go back to bed !”
