He should’ve known that he was going to use him after they said they were going up ahead. He was lucky that a stranger from the woods saved him by flinging some sort of ice move at the strangers in a calculated and fierce strike. It looked like Ice Shards when he was in the Woods with Jeriko and that one cactus Pokemon he brought along. So; don’t blame him if he’s not in a trusting mood.
