I'm going nuts right now over the tiger and magpie in KPDH because I can't figure out what they're supposed to be. Like, I get that they're hojak-do, which are a genre of "tiger and magpie" paintings (minhwa) and that's AWESOME, but physically in that universe, what are they supposed to be? Are they demons? Familiars? Spirits? We see Derpy jump in and out of a tiger sculpture, so is Derpy the sculpture come to life? I'm going nuts over this.
