As soon as I laid eyes on derpy the tiger, I felt a love that is equivalent to a mother holding her newly born child...that being immediately thinking "oh god you're so adorably ugly"
Oh and I will turn this into a print, just you wait.

for everyone just finding out about it via kpop demon hunters, the 'crow' is specifically a magpie! the imagery of magpie and tiger comes from 까치호랑이 민화, a genre of minhwa—korean folk art—that depicts the two creatures (often along with pine trees) as a sort of political cartoon, with the goofy looking tiger representing the uppity aristocracy and the sensible and dignified magpie standing in for the common people. i'm so happy more people are being exposed to this tradition!
I just had to doodle this adorable tiger demon from K-pop Demon Hunters. Cute movie, cute kitty!! Totally fell in love with the world and this derpy creature.

SEONGHWA & MINGI 😚 260404 IYF Bangkok
seonghwa, who spent the first few years of their career questioning whether or not he was worth it, who spent so much time struggling silently, who was so scared he wasn't good enough and mingi, who was so confident but broke under pressure, who was so ready to show how great he was but then immediately felt like he was a fraud and then seonghwa, who keeps this air of composure and poise and grace as a shield, who masks as someone cool and collected but becomes childlike and giddy when unguarded and then mingi, who puts up a playful front and a goofy gimmick, who is so boyish and brash but then becomes so introspective and wise when he's allowed to have the space to be vulnerable and then seonghwa, who has always been the 'mother' of the group, who has always taken care of the others, has always guided them and nurtured them and cared for them and then mingi, who has always been lovingly made out to be a princess, always asking to be doted upon and thought of fondly and treated specially and then them together. in the way that seonghwa finds that unguardedness and boyishness and goofiness, and in the way that seonghwa finds himself being cared for by being allowed the space to do that. and in the way that mingi has the space to be vulnerable and taken seriously, while simultaneously being cherished and also being able to cherish, because taking care of his own means the world to mingi, too and how different they are, but how it only serves to make them complete each other more, two halves of a lived experience only they will ever have together, growing around each other like tangled roots, learning from each other and leaning on each other and finding themselves alongside each other, in this lifetime and in every lifetime. you know? okay
MINGI!!! 😂😂😂😂
