There was hesitance in the way Tango walked. He followed Jimmy with pure confusion. They were getting so close to the ocean that he was starting to worry. Even trying to ask about where they were even headed.
"Jimmy, could you please just talk to me?!"
Tango pulls on his hand to try to get him to stop walking, but Jimmy just kept walking in silence. His expression was unnervingly neutral. "Jim-" They get closer to the water. Jimmy literally dragged Tango with him into the water. Despite the fact that the other couldn't swim well after the incident. "Jimmy!" Tango shouts at him while trying to pull away from him. Jimmy finally turns around to face him with the biggest smile on his face. He holds up their hands as he continues to pull him into the water. "Come drown with me, Tango!"
"What?!" Tango looks around at their surroundings, starting to hyperventilate with each step they take. "Are you even hearing yourself?" He looks back to him with a strained smile. "Let's go back home!" He could feel the water rising under him due to them walking deeper into the ocean. Jimmy tilts his head with a smile never leaving his face. "We are home, silly!" He pulls him further into the deep parts of the ocean. The water was slowly getting up to their necks.
"Fall with me! Come on and fall with me!" Jimmy falls back into the water to pull him into the water with him. "Jimmy please!" Tango shouts before he is pulled into the water. Both of them were sinking down to the bottom. Fear is rising up his throat, making it so tight that tears well up in his eyes.
Jimmy pulls him close to himself with his eyes falling closed. He presses their foreheads together still smiling. Tango looks at him in the water just silently crying.
This was it.
They were going to die.
