A/N: this was unprompted but since i’m desi and i celebrate holi i wanted to try writing this! feel free to ask me any questions/recommendations to understand the festival more! and to my desi moots - happy holi !!! just so you know in my imagination we’re all spreading colour over each other and going crazy 💛

at first when you both were in a new relationship and had come to india he’d just be so shy to even join and go around rubbing gulal (coloured powders) on others, but i think with time he got more used to it - seeing you have so much fun and do it on him somehow made him more open and comfortable in joining you

also can we talk about harry in a white kurta? heck yes 😩

he’ll probably be the one running after you the most

i can see him threatening everyone that he should be the first to put colors on you first ANDDD when you’d enter with nothing to rescue in your hands, you surely don’t expect him to come from behind and smear your face with the gulal, his laughs echoing along with others

it’s a mess after that. you don’t leave running after him until he’s drowned in colour and you’re proud of it 

i imagine him enjoying getting thrown balloons at himself by the little kids in the party and he’ll probably use a pichkari (water gun) to teasingly water them. of course you’re both very respectful despite the festival to ask people before doing it

oh my god and he loves to drink thandai and the mouth watering dishes, gujiya, puran poli. we cannot forget bhaang right? 

you just go crazy dancing in the crowd to the best holi numbers with colours all around, a very good day indeed and you’re pretty much unrecognisable by the end of the day.
