AT&T Customer Service Win

Signed up for AT&T Fiber little over a month and a half ago. There was supposed to be a rewards deal with $250 worth of gift cards.

Shortly after installation, I get emailed a redemption code for $150. Call them up and ask what gives? They tell me that 30 days after my phone service installation date (which was about a week after the Fiber) I should get a code for the other hundred.

Well that day passes and I get emailed the same code for the original $150. I go on the AT&T Rewards Center chat this time. Get connected to Nancy. Ask what gives?

Nancy looks into it, and doesn't get me my $100 gift card. Because instead, she's found a $200 gift card to add on top of the $150 one I previously got the code for.

fuck cancer: an update

i got the news just before christmas... i had a complete response to first line chemotherapy, and my last scan came back totally clear!

thank you so much to everyone who’s sent me well wishes or kept me in their thoughts... i know there’s no way to prove it but i believe from the bottom of my heart that it made all the difference. thank you thank you thank you for helping me through the hardest 6-7 months of my life and making them bearable. i love you all so much.

my road to recovery isn’t over yet by any means but my god it’s such a huge step compared to when i was first diagnosed with stage IV cancer and seriously thought it might be the beginning of the end for me. this fic and the community surrounding it has seriously powered me through such a dark chapter in my life and i can’t thank you enough for that

I love the universe so fucking much.

I've felt shit today, I even made a post about it on here earlier although I deleted it because I didn't want to spread negativity but essentially I was feeling homesick and lost (you don't need back ground but my mum is pretty sick and we live in different countries and it's been worrying) and I didn't have money to get home and honestly I was questioning everything. I love my gf, I truely believe she is my One & Only but I wanted to go home for Xmas although I didn't realise it until I skyped my family on christmas day. Point being, I was feeling down and just pretty bah humbug! And then my dad rang an hour ago and I almost didn't answer, I just watched it ring and ring and then I picked up, everyone was at my aunt's and he'd gone outside to ring me and was describing it all and honestly I could have cried but I just laughed and wished them all a good time and he passed to phone to my mum and we talked about presents well her's mostly (I hadn't gotten many because money had been tight but I didn't really care) and my dad came over and took the phone back. And said my sister (who's moving to the same country I'm in at the start of February, although she'll be about 3 hours away from me) was having a goodbye party at the end of January and that they'd get the whole family and friends together for it and if I was available that he'd pay for my flights and travel for me to come across. I wished like you wouldn't believe these last few days that I could go home soon, with an urgency that seemed like it came from more then me and all of a sudden here it is, my holiday miracle!! All bundled up nicely with all I'm needing to do is say yes. I can't believe it, I'm actually crying but I need to share this because the universe has my back and for a little while I had doubted it. I doubted myself and my whole beliefs because for the first time I thought I was missing out. I'm so thankful and grateful to the universe for aligning this (and of course my daddy for paying for it!) I needed this. I am so happy!
