holiday proposals?
Many people have multiply forms of social media, Facebook, instagram, tumblr, twitter whatever… Anyways I’ve had multiply friends post their oh so precious engagement photos. And while they are oh so cute and all, deep in the back of my most inner thoughts I’m like… really? Honestly, let’s be a little more cliche. The FUCK were you thinking? Yeah sure the pictures will be sooo cute and all but really how sentimental is that really? How much thought other than buying a ring did you put into it?
If you ask me which you did because you’re still reading this, why not do it on some random day? But not just any random day. A random day when it was a perfect random day. You were both relaxing and watching your favorite saturday morning cartoons together… and BAM! MARRY ME. Both of you had the day off from work, so you went to your favorite fishing spot, throw back a couple cold ones and oh hey by the way marry me. For those more in touch with their romanic side, get take out from your favorite place and make up a cheesy one liner. Like “I’ve fallen’ in love with you more times than could ever be counted, will you marry me.”
I mean come on people, it’s not difficult to take any ordinary day and make it your own special day. Holidays are taken, they’re already special. Jesus, Santa, the Easter Bunny, St. Valentine, Leprechauns. They’ve claimed that shit. So stop being so basic and do something extraordinary, you’re writing the contract in which your future marriage will be based from.
