I just saw you reblogged the exchange post and I just wanted to ask a question on the technicalities of fic posting:

I do have to post the fic to tumblr, I can post on ao3 and just put a link to it in a tumblr post (in which I @ my giftee & hit the mxtxnet tag), right?

Is there anything I need to keep in mind when linking the fic? Do I need the full tag rundown, etc?

I'm mostly familiar with exchanges that run via the "gift work" feature of ao3, so this is uncharted waters for me 😂

Hello! Thank you for asking! A post with a link to the fic on ao3 is fine! Yes, make sure you @ your giftee and that you use the mxtxnet tag so we don't miss your post! Also, as with all fics we reblog, we only ask that warnings, pairings, and a summary is visible. [example] For those posting their fic on tumblr, all text (the fic) must be placed under a “read more”.

About the holiday exchange... Will there be a minimum word count for writers?

I'd love to sign up but I'm solo-modding an exchange in a different fandom and I won't be able to write anything more than 1-1.5k (probably) because I'll be busy, so before signing up I just wanted to make sure that wouldn't be an issue
