DOPEAMINE 💙 | Two years ago, on one boring SL night a friend said, “Dee, get dressed we’re going to a yacht party!”. Who knew that night would forever change my life for the better?! This was the evening when I 1st heard Kevo spinnin'…. needless to say I became an instant fan. This may sound stalkerish, but I knew I had to know him! 😂 I love being around other creatives & from 1 listening I KNEW he was a visionary destined for greatness.
Long story short, we became good friends with a constant flow of support between us!
About a few months later, Kevo & I had a conversation about future goals. I excitedly asked him, “Would you ever considered opening up your own club? It would make so much sense!” He thought for a moment & replied, “No”, with his reasonings.
Man, at the time it was a bummer to hear, but I respected his views & the convo was left there.
To my surprise, a year later, Kevo finds me somewhere around the grid to express how he’s planning to drop this “huge” project & he would love for me to be his manager. Little to my knowledge….I would be managing a whole NIGHTCLUB! Here we are….February 2024, Club Dopeamine: Soft Opening & Kevo’s Golden Birthday Party.
I’ve said it before & I’mma say it again, I am so incredibly grateful, proud & honored to be a part of such an amazing business with a person I love & respect to infinity. No matter how bright the lights have gotten for Kevo, he has never forgotten his core people. And to me, that is beyond honorable.
