We are excited to introduce another amazing practitioner, Dr. Erica Zelfand, who will be co-facilitating our Portland, Oregon training "Repairing the Wounds of Sexual Violence - Infusing Your Healing Arts Practice with a Trauma-Informed Lens" on October 17th. Dr. Zelfand offers holistic primary and supportive care for adults and children and will be sharing about the integration of naturopathic medicine for healing after sexual violence and trauma. She integrates her knowledge in western and natural medicine to offer a full range family practice, with special interests in pediatrics, gynecology, endocrinology, autoimmune conditions, and digestive health. She earned her Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from the National College of Natural Medicine (NCNM), graduating with High Honors. While in training, she completed three rigorous internships: one in advanced gynecology, one in cardiopulmonary medicine, and one in the management of chronic illness. She completed her residency training in family medicine at NCNM in Portland, OR, where she continues to serve as adjunct faculty. She is also trained in Holistic Pelvic Care™.
