Hey, my loves!

I'm sure some of you already know, but I wanted to tell you that through the month of November I will be taking a fanfic break. I participate on National Novel Writing Month every year. For the thirty days of November, I will be focusing on an original novel and writing at least 50,000 words. I'll be sharing some prep work this month and snippets through November over on my main blog @booksrockmyface. If you don't already follow me over there and want to see what else I cook up besides Hunger Games and Shadowhunter Chronicles fanfiction, please give it a look. I will try to get a few more chapters of The Cook's Contract, Falling Slowly, and One New Message up in the next three and a half weeks. After that, there won't be much else until December.

I got to sleep in, but not nearly as much as I planned. A parent neglected to tell me she was working an earlier shift that had her heading out of town at 5:30 for work an hour away. Ugh! I was hoping for twenty more minutes of sleep.
