it was nearing midnight and vanessa had decided that she deserved to take a little trip to town. she used her phone’s flashlight to light her path as she neared the exit of the camp, slowing down as she started to hear noises behind her. she whipped around to determine the source and nearly jumped when the flashlight landed right on someone’s face. “ jeez! ” once realizing that she had just run into another student, she put a hand to her chest in relief and lowered the light. “ give a girl a warning next time. ” // @hollisopens​

Evangeline had finished organizing her room, practiced a bit and done her work out routines for the day so she figured it was time to enjoy herself. She was always a big fan of nature and the outdoors, so as the sun began to set she made her way over to the dock knowing she would get the best view there. The girl made her way over to the dock admiring the site as she walked. She was truly excited about an opportunity to learn and bond with her team, which she knew would only strengthen them. Of course she knew there would be distractions, but her head was in the game. She sat on the edge of the dock dangling her legs over the water as she looked up enjoying the view. It was all so peaceful to her. She heard some footsteps behind her and scoot over assuming the person had the same idea in mind. “It’s all so beautiful isn’t it. Definitely wouldn’t be able to find a view like this to watch the sunset on campus. I love it.”

“Hey,” Jazmine nodded towards the person as she plopped her duffle bag on the grass. “I don’t want to be that guy, but I’m pretty sure I saw some guy naked guy running over there.” The female pointed towards the cabin behind her before rummaging through her bag. “I can’t believe someone would steal someone else’s clothes from the shower.” she mumbled under her breath. “Some people, am I right?” a sly smile crept across her face. Her slender hand reached into her bag and pulled out a neatly folded Men’s practice jersey and shorts, neatly placing them on the ground beside her before before wiping off her hands and looking back at her companion with an innocent smile. “Anyways, do you happen to know where Cabin B1 is?”

crunch. the sound of vincenzo biting into the apple was lost in the noise of the dining hall, but, he wouldn’t have cared regardless. he often failed to think of little things such as that, just like how he forgot to swallow his food before speaking, “is this seat taken?” he asked loudly, in order to be heard over the noise. it was also worth mentioning that he was bad at waiting for answers, so without giving them enough time to reply he simply sat down a wide smile plastered across his face as he took another bite of the apple. “thanks,” he nodded, “i needed to rest my feet,” he spoke with a laugh as he used his apple to gesture towards the ground. “so,” he began to speak once more, his eyebrow arched as he turned to face his new companion, “how was your day?”

PERHAPS HEELS HAD NOT BEEN a wise decision on tally’s part, the terrain of gravel and grass of various depths at camp her backwoods HELL ensuring she’d have a rough walkthrough to reach her cabin. and anywhere else she would venture, for that matter. caution and logic were thrown to the wayside for the sake of fashion and her own sense of comfort — something she partially regrets at the back of her mind as she uses a couple of wet napkins to cleanse her patent pumps of any mud or clippings. she sits upon a bench in doing so, having left the room to AIR OUT with a diffuser, and huffs at the sound of footsteps close by. “ not a word, ” tally warns, sitting up straight and neglecting her task, “ did they REALLY have to take us to the middle of fucking nowhere for this ? ” the idea of being miles upon miles away from the ACTION she’s used to is tragic in and of itself, but bunk beds, roommates and cheap booze being all that’s close by has her ready to turn right back around.
