Part 4
I’m joining #funaday where you create something everyday of January. I love following the #funaday2020 accounts and tags. Check out @funadaydundee @funadayforever @funadaydc on instagram
I decided to do #scratchnotes I bought from @artezaofficial. They’re black cards which you scratch your design on and reveal a rainbow or #holographic. They’re so much fun. I loved these as a kid. And it’s not high pressure since I have so many cards in case of mistakes plus it’s a small space to scrawl in.
I have two stipulations:
✨ My own original words only. No quotes from other people.
✨ Write a range, not only aphorisms or affirmations.
Here’s what they say tho I will omit any dates I wrote out:
Day 1 in rainbow: “Stop asking permission for what you deserve.”
Day 2 in gold #holographics: “I will outlast you.” Striped heart.
Day 3 in silver holographics: “I hope she’ll still love you at your most bleak” cloud raining on waves
Day 4 in pink holographics: “you deserve someone who holds your heart tenderly. Not somebody who derides your very being.”
Day 5 in blue holographics:
“A list of desires:
🔹A slow dance
🔹Pretty handwriting
🔹Bookstore/cafe walking distance from home
🔹A lengthy love letter
🔹Knowing they’re happy
🔹The longevity & luck to witness my enemies suffer”
So I threw in encouragement, a threat, wistfulness, an unsent message, sincerity, and a joke haha. TBH I don’t have any foes, though I think it’d make life more interesting albeit stressful.
Let me know if you’re doing fun-a-day as well. I wanna see pics. At the end I want to bind it into a book. I’m also considering extending it to the end of 2020 but we’ll see how this challenge goes. Hope you’re having a good time with your own projects!
Angel sightings: The truth behind the fiction.
As you can guess I got tired of people making angel claims. There is a definition which partly rings true but mythological angels and demons aren’t what people are seeing. Some people try to commit fraud and mislead church congregations to earn money, increase church attendance, etc. Some of these churches are no longer recognized by their head religious organization. They still make claims and get followers though. Police have arrested some of these people. Others believing in nonsense have committed crimes to please the angels, get the angels something they want, or to try to achieve some religious status. One person killed their son and then demanded that the paramedic “ascend” him so that he can be perfect and magical granting their wishes.
Though there are things that qualify as angels(including a pilots term). Real ones wouldn’t have need to demand your belongings or for you to commit crimes. Also most things are explainable as technology in action.
Palette 08 - Iridescent: Holographics in Design / Available at www.draw-down.com / Light has fascinated human beings since the dawn of mankind. To that end, #iridescence (the lustrous rainbow-like play of color caused by refracted light waves) is a compelling means to ideate and create, due to its ability to produce captivating multi-colored illusions that shift with the viewer’s vantage point. Its kaleidoscopic nature also allows it to be subtle yet striking all at once, making it a versatile finish with lasting visual impact. PALETTE 08: Iridescent explores the power and possibilities of both a color and a palette existing in a single form through more than 100 creative projects from all around the world. Whether they are applied to create depth and dimension or used to transform physical attributes and perspectives, discover how artists and designers today are experimenting with holographic hues to generate new work and realms that intrigue and inspire.
