HoltCat to Expand Solar Portfolio with New San Antonio Projects from PCI Solar
AUSTIN, TX, October 6, 2015 -- PCI Solar has completed construction on two simultaneous projects in San Antonio TX for HoltCat, a leading Central Texas dealer and service provider of Caterpillar equipment.
HoltCat's New Service facility added a solar project consisting of (440) ReneSola 300 watt modules for a total of 132 kW DC. This addition was the second phase to an existing solar array, making the total array size 264kW.
On the same campus, HoltCat's Building 101 added a third phase solar project to the facility. The array consisted of (220) ReneSola 300 Watt modules totaling 66 kW DC. The addition of this phase makes the total array size 238kW, which the equivalent to the burning of 296,263 tons of coal per year.
These projects bring the total portfolio of solar projects built for HoltCat by the PCI Solar team to over 1.4 megawatts (MW) in Texas alone.
Commercial customers continue to take advantage of the 30% Federal investment tax credit which is set to expire at the end of 2016, along with other federal tax and local incentives.
