đŚ If your OC could change everything (or just something) about their life would they? What would they change? What do they think would happen if they did? What would their loved ones think?
If you ask him if he would change âeverythingâ he would change his path. He would ask that the Light simply forsake him. He believes that would free him from the heavy yoke of responsibility he carries.
Laurent believes the Light burdens him without his permission. He claims to have renounced the Light many times in his life. He even mocks his own faith at times for a cheap laugh. His relationship with the Light, and the crisis in which it is stuck, are something he doesnât really understand, though. He is a conduit and a tool for the Light because of the things in his heart that he tries to deny. Willing or unwilling, he will cast the Lightâs warmth upon others. In that regard, it is true that he has not fully consented to the burden, or blessing, which has been bestowed.
Likewise, though, Laurent has accomplished miracles through the Light. He has been able to help more people through the connection he shares. If he succeeded in changing everything, he may have no loved ones to look upon him with pity, but he would quickly realize he made a grave mistake.
