This guy was massive to say the very least.  Massive, but Itachi noticed more in the guy’s lack of eyes.  They seemed to be closed which meant one thing with several reasons behind it.  Something he knew all too well before his final moments back home.  He can’t even recall ever seeing anyone like him in the city before which ... he should probably speak up after staring for a brief moment like that.

“Forgive me but I couldn’t help but see you might be new around here?  Do you need a hand with anything as far as getting settled?” may as well ask as he was a more experienced veteran of this hell.

Steven slammed the weight back on the rack and wiped the sweat from his forehead. Grabbing his water bottle, he took some chugs as he walked around the gym to observe.

He didn’t like to flex too much on anyone else. Plus, without Homeworld armies to fight, he didn’t need to be super buff. He could just get by on moderate muscles. Or a bit more.

Speaking of a bit more buff, Steven stopped to watch some guy. He seemed to be observing all of the gym equipment.

“Hey! Do you need someone to support you?” Steven asked, filling in when he couldn’t think of the word. “I mean—protect you? I mean—spot you!”

thieves; what wretched creatures. perhaps he'd be considered a hypocrite, being a king of thieves, but these RATS whom line the streets are utterly weak, scurrying about without a hint of pride in their beings. a king among the rabble, once, a GOD among mortals, yet as he looks down upon most of the citizenry, he is silently smug — who would be foolish enough to approach him? a DESPERATE man / a GREEDY man.

ganondorf does not believe himself to be asking for trouble, entitled perhaps in his movements. yet that does not stop a stupid man for reaching into his pockets, a FOOL of a man for provoking a king. a hand reaches out, fingers tight in their grip, twisting the wrist with a crack. he won't kill the man - eyes DARTING around, taking in the slack jawed crowd around them. no one would miss the thief, surely, but what kind of man would he be to show his cards so readily?

he notices a particular set of eyes resting upon the back of his skull. dropping the thief unceremoniously, who runs away tail between his legs. ganondorf swings his head around to GAZE at the stranger, as if testing him. ❝what? he ATTEMPTED to steal from me.❞

Arima’s hands are around a cold cup of coffee, his eyes narrowed slightly behind his glasses. He looks towards the street, his posture rigid and stern as he waits by the door of the little cafe. The coffee shop is mostly empty, even the person behind the register has gone to the back to take care of things: that just irritates Arima a little more -- he had been debating getting a pastry as well, and now that’s not possible.

Ah, probably would be tasteless and bland. Much like this coffee.

As the doorbell chimes and a man walks in, Arima looks at the figure and nods to his own coffee. “It’s cold,” he says, flatly. “And it took ten minutes for me to get it. If you know another place, I suggest going there instead.”

it doesn’t take too much for dante to be impressed. whether it’s s technique he hasn’t seen before or just a plain ol move that he hasn’t quite seen yet, it always inspires him to try something new. so on his free time, he sometimes goes out into the training grounds just to see what people are up to. he’s learned a couple of moves there already, so he wonders if today will be any different.

he manages to find someone that catches his attention, a man training on his own that seems to know how to fight pretty well, at least in dante’s eyes. after watching him vaguely for a minute, he sees the man take a brief rest before approaching “you’re pretty good, buddy!” he speaks, the usual smirk on his face not fading away just yet, “do you do it as a gig, by any chance? just wonderin.”
