erik’s in a good mood ( for once ) due to the simple fact that he had gotten away with another mission. it’s little to no surprise seeing as erik’s the fucking best in the business. nonetheless, the pay he got afterwards was enough to put him in a bit of celebratory mood. it’s why he finds himself home at his studio apartment, waiting for the one person who could only add to his fun mood. so when he hears a set of knocks at his doors, he opens it up and a smirk dances along his face upon seeing the familiar face. erik steps over to the side to let her in before closing the door behind him ( he knows some manners since he’s not a complete hopeless asshole ) before plopping down on the couch with a cigarette now in hand. “nice dress,” he notes, eyes briefly taking in the blonde in front of him after he blows out a puff of smoke, “i was hoping for a little less this time though.”

as soon as his mum tells him mia’s returned home when he walks through the door after spending his morning at the gym, archie’s right back out the door again. perhaps he could have been a little more subtle about his adoration for his oldest friend, but he hadn’t even contemplated that. it wasn’t the time. he’s not sure he’s ever ridden his bike faster as he makes his way to the house he could get to with his eyes closed. once there, it’s only then that he realises there’s a possibility that the bartolimei family won’t want any visitors and will want, for at least a few hours or so, to spend the time together. however, he’s already knocked at the door when he’s come to this conclusion, and he’s not about to play knock down ginger against his nearest and dearest. the blond turns to leave, suspecting the minutes he’s been waiting are confirmation that his presence really wasn’t desired. as soon as he does though, he’s met with the face he hadn’t stopped thinking about -- for as long as he could remember. archie really had speed rode his way there, he’d got there before them. he can hear the car doors slam shut, but he’s a little to focused on the brunette, to recognise her parents right behind her.“oh -- hi...” he clears his throat then, before a gentle smile takes over his expression. “...guess i was a little premature, huh?” // @holyborn1x1

here is my take on you… your name is one letter off from angel and that is for a reason, you’re the sweetest most caring person i’ve have the pleasure of meeting in this site and i’m convinced you’re in fact an angel sent from heaven. your writing is so amazing, you’re so talented. you’re always there for me be it a random nonsense thought i just had to share for some unknown reason or for a long rant that actually means something and you always have my back. i love you to pieces and i’m so glad you are in my life and too bad for you but i’m not letting you get rid of me. i know it’s been just a year but it feels like a lifetime and i wouldn’t have it any other way ok and also i hate when you are feeling sad bc someone like you deserve only to be happy.

Oof. how do I wrap this up in just a few characters? What’s that? No word count! Challenge accepted! lol. No, no. I won’t bring the mush here but I should tell you (and often) how much I admire you. Not only for the on the surface, obvious things but for all the little things I have had the privilege of getting to know about you. I admire your creativity, your talent, your ability to hold on to so many beautiful people in your life as your friends, your ability to get literally anyone you cross paths with to fall in love with you because you’re that much of a good bean. I admire your bravery, your way with words, how you’re able to pull in an audience with your writing, how you’re so. not . afraid. Just...the fact that you’re able to share with us each day how much life kicks your ass and how much you look at it in the eye and say fuck you is amazing. I someday hope to have an ounce of that courage.

it was a crazy idea. in fact, crazy didn’t even begin to cover it. rafael knew that, and he was sure that gillian would know it as well. if he could think of any other alternative for this, he would have taken it in a heartbeat ─ for her sake more than his own, really ─ but there wasn’t a single person he could think of who could play the part of his girlfriend better than his, well... ex-girlfriend. the one his family loved and was crazy about. the one they kept asking about and urging him to bring her to spend the holidays with them. the one he just so happened to forget to mention was no longer his girlfriend. he’s standing at her doorstep, hand raised to knock and a million thoughts running through his head all at once. he considers turning around and walking away while he still can, because this was a really crazy and idiotic idea, but he’s already come all the way over here. he’s not backing out now. knocking a couple of times, he fidgets on his spot a bit until the door finally opens, and when it does, he realises he hadn’t thought this through at all. “ hey, ” he greets, biting his bottom lip. “ don’t slam the door on my face just yet ─ i, uh... i need your help. ” // @holyborn1x1 - GILLIAN ROLAND, based on x

it felt weird being back, but at the same time -- right. his family was everything to him and whilst he didn’t regret taking time out to focus on himself, to work out what he wanted, suspecting it would help him be a better son, brother and friend; he was glad to be back. he’s only wandering down to grab himself a glass of water, the house eerily quiet at first. eyes widen though once he realises he’s not alone, and the last person he’d predicted walking into the kitchen to spot, is sitting on a dining room chair. archie’s thanking his lucky stars he’d chosen to pull on a shirt, often wandering around the house shirtless, naturally. “oh, hi --” it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to locate his shock, but he continues to pour himself a glass of water; downing it in two gulps. exhaling once he’s done so and rubs at his mouth; blush tinging his cheeks, since some of the liquid has dripped down his chin. “i - uh, didn’t...expect to see you here.” he adds on, tension all too palpable. archie knew that no matter how much time he took out, his feelings for mia would never dissipate, would never even -- soothe, if anything, being away from mia always reminded him of the intensity of his feelings. though he remained convinced nothing could come of them / @holyborn1x1
