Holy Now - Please Call Me Back . It’s still hot as shit in Stockholm. I rode my bicycle to work today and arrived drenched in sweat. Cycling in Stockholm is an apocalyptic nightmare even without the heat, by the fucking way, but I won’t get into that nor this morning’s bout of road rage. Or should I say “bicycle-lane rage”? . Anyway, listening to this EP by Gothenburg band Holy Now won’t help me cool down, literally or figuratively. But it’s still a catchy bit of indie rock, complete with head-bobbing riffs and pained lyrics, from Sweden’s indie rock capital. (Can I say that about GBG without all the STHLMers or MLMites getting offended? Not to mention all the other indie rock bastions in this country? Ugh. It’s too hot to care right now, sorry.) . Check out “Dead End” if you have time for only one song before you stereo or phone or laptop melts.
