[ TEXT - JONATHAN CARTER ] [ sent ] - my mom used to make me do those creepy child pageants when i was younger and they would always ask that question . . . and i'd just tell them that i wanted to help people, to make the world a better and safer place in whatever way i could. being a detective just felt right when i came across it.
[ TEXT - JONATHAN CARTER ] [ sent ] - oh i am quite aware of the fact that i have your attention . . . i shouldn't like it but i do.
[ TEXT - JONATHAN CARTER ] [ sent ] - when i need to be anyway . . . you don't know what i'm like when i've had a few cocktails and tequila shots.
[ TEXT - JONATHAN CARTER ] [ sent ] - do you have doubts in my cooking skills? i know i probably don't seem like it, but i can cook really well, may not be fine dining standards but i can cook a good meal.
[ TEXT - JONATHAN CARTER ] [ sent ] - it's not necessarily the restaurant that's the issue, a lot of my fellow detectives can't afford the fine level of fine dining you're probably used to . . . it's more if they just happen to see us, going between home and there . . . but if you can assure me that no one will see us, then maybe we can actually go out for dinner.
