Just finished my newest project... A USB charger. There are more pictures to come, but the parts are simple. PCB with micro usb in and standard usb out Wires and nickel plates connecting to two fuses Fuses each running to two individual 18650 cells rated at ~2500mah each Metal shielding, tape, and a welding sponge for support All sealed in an old I5-8600 box, because it was still around from years ago. Still have the i5 too... handy little chip. 

All in all, an entry level project. This is just the finishing touches of it. I still want to tape the lid shut, but am leaving it able to reopen for a short time until I know it will hold steady for an extended time instead of anything shaking loose. I still want to add corner supports to the box as well in order to improve drop safety, although it is already fairly stable and shielded.  Background music is Tom Waits.
