Rodney finished reconfiguring the DHD to send them back to Atlantis. The energy beings had promised they could go, provided they never returned.

"Sheppard, what? What's wrong?" Rodney saw John staring at him.

"Hmm? Oh, nothing. What do you mean?"

"You were...you looked like you wanted to say something."

"Oh, not really...just thinking."

"About what?"

"Not here..."

Elizabeth, Ford and Teyla looked at them curiously.

"Shall we leave you two alone for a few minutes?" Elizabeth teased.

"That won't be necessary," Rodney huffed, dialing the gate.

Elizabeth, Teyla and Ford went through the gate and as Rodney stooped to pick up his pack, John brushed past him and whispered, "Missed you."

"What? Wait! Sheppard!"

But John had already passed through the gate and Rodney took off after him.

I wonder if the EP after MITAM was planned and we were gonna get home regardless or was it decided on after home release...

If it was planned, the way that it was announced and released was very odd. The EP came out 21 October 2015 and MITAM was released 13 November 2015.

In hindsight, I do think that the rainbow bears were an appeal to Larry fans in order to sell MITAM, even if Larry were still “real” at the time. The boys participated in it.

I also think that the Home EP was released along the same lines. On the same day as the release, Simon Cowell gave an interview about Louis’ impending fatherhood. It was a little of both narratives— “Dad Louis” as well as “Larry,” just like in 2016-17, with the same purpose— to keep Larries onboard for 1D and Solo Harry.

While I'm still waiting for the physical CD to be shipped to my home, I should probably start putting this on repeat...
