I’ll never, ever stop loving these two. Twenty+ years on, they absolutely love each other, and my Monaboyd heart as well as the actual reality of their BFFness thinks that’s amazing. Also, Stephen was so excited about this, and them, and their podcast is absolutely as wild and wonderful as you’d expect if you’ve ever watched these two banter at each other for an hour. I prefer watching the vids to listening, because their interactions with each other have always been the best and their looks and inside jokes are still so obvious.
The podcast can be found wherever people find podcasts, so you do you.
It's all wrong. By rights we shouldn't even be here. But we are. It's like in the great stories, Mr. Frodo. The ones that really mattered. Full of darkness and danger, they were. And sometimes you didn't want to know the end. Because how could the end be happy? How could the world go back to the way it was when so much bad had happened? But in the end, it's only a passing thing, this shadow. Even darkness must pass. A new day will come. And when the sun shines it will shine out the clearer.
Samwise Gamgee, The Two Towers
My parents finally got a new huge 4K tv. We just finished FOTR and now starting TTT and only the first one was at my request, my mom put on the second without even being asked. Nothing else settles my heart so much.
A little classic monaboyd.
Fandom Families
We all have fandoms we love, and some we hate, but there is always one fandom you're loyal to. This my friend is your home anime/fandom. For my friend it's one piece, for my other friend it's Gundam. We all have different home fandoms we fight to keep them alive, but it doesn't always have a happy ending. I have to speak from experience. My home fandom is, and forever will be, Black Cat. The feelings the series gave me was unexplainable and gave me peace of mind, but after a year or so the manga ended and the fandom started to slow down. The people I talked to began disappearing one by one. I tried to keep the fandom afloat with the few people left, but even they eventually disappeared. I remember getting a message from one of my friends, the fandom was dead and they were leaving...they never looked back, but if they did they would have seen me sitting in the rubble of what once was still guarding what little bits I had left. I still stand by my fandom and I'll never leave. So be kind to the people in your fandom. You never know who will give their all to fight for their home. Stay Strong Joker!
is there a “home” fandom? are there blogs I can follow that are, like, house porn? I just want to look at lots of pictures of pretty homes I could never actually live in
