Hmm, I may have underestimated how long it will take me to refinish the patio furniture
Step 1, evict the scary wasp families. The folds of the patio umbrella have been hiding these guys all summer! Two nests, two separate species. I didn't want to spray them, but I'm gonna be using a disc sander on the table and I'm sure the vibrations will make them very angry with me.
I couldn't find the wasp spray and opening the umbrella was scary enough, so I took a nap about it. A few hours later and both nests had been abandoned, so I was able to hose them down and didn't have to use bug spray!
Got 1/4 of the tabletop sanded. I forgot how much the disc sander vibrates, it's definitely going to set off my tendinitis. I should have taken ibuprofen before I started. Before I do the next segment I'll be sure I have ibuprofen on board and wrap my wrist.
