“This is MY house, and I’m going to defend it!”

            Macaulay Culkin on screen in all his youthful glory, dashing up snow dusted stairs with mittens dangling from purposed wrists, blasting through the door, turning with wind reddened cheeks after setting the bolt and finally we see his blue as sky movie star eyes:

“This is MY house, and I’m going to defend it!”

            Tossing another kernel, ankles crossed over the seat in front, Macaulay Culkin says this in unison with his onscreen persona.  The Younger, More Lovable version of himself.  The part of him born from The Magic Time when everything was just so perfectly perfect… and even though it wasn’t really like that, not even close, really, he preferred to remember it as such.
