Tis the season to be spooky
Happy spooky season! Every day until Halloween I am going to share a homebrew creature based on a thematic bit of media. First up, here's a reaper from Blade 2:

Haven’t posted in a while, but I am doing a lot of art that I just can’t show yet...But I will show you this little buddy! His name is 🌱Chestnut🌱
Last D&D session, our party came across a magical tree in a library and my DM allowed my druid to pluck one of the dragon shaped leaves to keep and plant later. So naturally I got hella excited about it and had to figure out what my new little plant buddy will look like, got a little carried away and turned it into a painting. I had the idea that he’d be a little living (albeit, stationary) pet. I gave him a little glowing magical seed core and I think when it dies, it could be planted to grow anew. Also, would change colors depending on the season.
I forgot one
About four years ago, I first came up with a homebrew horror setting that I wanted to expand upon, and one of the first creatures I made for it were the Gravewalkers. These equine beasts were my pride and joy for the setting, originally made to show the far-reaching consequences of the murder of the god of death. Since then, these creatures have become more than that, and I’m so proud of the progress my art made in the four years since I first shared them.
I’ve expanded a bit more on what they actually are, and two good friends of mine even made a video involving them that still remains one of my favorite things ever. Someday, I have to do even more with them, but we’ll see what the future holds.
Interested in using gravewalkers in your own D&D game? I’ve made a stat block, informational blurb, and token for them, all available here! All I ask is that you show some love and let me know if/how you used them and your players reactions!
The Grinch
Holiday Homebrew #9
You're a foul one, Mr. Grinch
You're a nasty-wasty skunk
Your heart is full of unwashed socks, your soul is full of gunk, Mr. Grinch
The three words that best describe you are as follows, and I quote
"Stink, stank, stunk!"
Homebrew Creatures (based on threefeline’s design): Mothsteed
This is just my idea for what those cuties might be in D&D 5e. Becouse all fantasy needs horse-shaped moths. The original design belongs to threefeline.
Check out more about Mothsteeds and Threefeline’s art.
Mothsteed
Tiny Beast
AC: 11
Hit points: 2
Speed: 40 feet
Climbing Speed: 20 feet
Blindsight: 30 feet
Str: 2 (-4) Dex: 13 (+1) Con: 7 (-2)
Int: 2 (-4) Wis: 11 (0) Cha: 10 (0)
Actions:
Claws - Melee weapon attack: +0 to hit, reach 5 feet, 1 slashing damage.
Moth Charm: Mothsteed targets one beast or humanoid within 30. Target musts succeed on DC 10 Wisdom saving throw or be charmed for a minute. When charmed that way, the creature sees mothsteed as extremely adorable (which is true) and will try to protect it as it can. The charm ends early if mothsteed or any of its allies will attack the creature. Mothsteed can’t use this ability again until it finishes long rest.

He is just...a little creature...
Part of a series I’m working on that I probably won’t be able to post for a while, but this little guy turned out cute enough to eat, so I thought I’d post it. I’m calling it a Jubilee Berry right now but name is subject to change.
(You can find his other little friend, Chestnut, in one of my previous posts)
