Verizon LTE is FAST!!!

Spending a few days up north with the family, and unfortunately they don't get cable, fios, or even DSL up here. Fortunately they do get Verizon's LTE Coverage. I've already scheduled to have Verizon come and install Verizon Home Fusion for them with a 20GB CAP. 

While I wait, I've had to create a wifi hotspot off my Samsung Galaxy S3.

I was curious to see the speeds I get.  And the results are astounding!

I wanted to play a game, so I went ahead on Steam and started to download Amnesia (50%, off today fyi). Look at those download speeds!!!

Back home with my FIOS connection I get 35/35. So to see fairly comparable connection here, all from my LTE radio on my phone is just great!

One thing to note. I had to up my data cap to 10GB for my phone this month, which cost 80$ vs the 50$ i was paying for 5GB before.

Overall, I'm very excited to see what Verizon's Home Fusion will bring when it arrives!
