Happy September 1st! Just enjoying a bit of coffee and sun on this holiday weekend. I had to remove some of my pumpkins off their vines for lawn purposes, so now I’m trying to get them to finish ripening and curing. Went pumpkin picking today. Every year, like it or not my compost bins give us pumpkins, tomatoes, celery to say the least. And this year was no exception. I’ve picked 8 today. . I had to wash them as they were sitting in dirt, so once they’re thoroughly dry I’ll be storing them at the base of my kitchen dresser.
