Sunshine & Pugs
This is my first ever post (hello all) & it's just a light hearted puglove read :)
Today when I woke up, I wondered where my pugs were (let me state now that when I say pugs, that include my Chihuahua X because since being rescued has settled into our family & picked up ALL the bad pug habits hahaha), as normally they bark/whinge the second they know I am awake. Anyhow upon getting up I look out the back window & I spot them soaking up the lovely summer sunshine.
This made me think my usual thought… they LOVE the heat…!!! Oddly enough given how many times you hear or read about pugs needing lots of shade esp in summer because of their short snout, thus causing breathing/overheating issues.
These 3 cannot wait for me to let them into the living room when the heater is on so they can plonk themselves right in front, so close that no one else can get the heat anymore. They sleep away... absorbing all the warmth & are just so content with themselves :)
Going back to the start of this blog & all 3 are loving being in the yard, they enjoy the early morning sun & watching the birds fly about as they LAZE about!
