That's an interesting interpretation! I'd always viewed it as more of a 'partners in crime (solving)' kind of thing ((because of Terezi)), and I'd sort of imagined Stuck bringing out the more playful/fun side of Sherlock in some cases. ((honestly though, just imagine the two of them coming together to prank Nat by convincing him of something ridiculous))
thats also an interesting interpretation. i just took them as the type to have only a partner they actually want around all the time (sherlock picking dw) or just have no partner in crime-solving at all.
stuck would definitely make sherlock lose cool allllllll the time, but he has to WORK for it.
also yes, the days they get along rly well is a bad day for spn.

What's your opinion on Homelock?
i feel like it would be a rivalry of wits. homestuck is full of quick thinking, sharp tongues, the true essence of offending another person. sherlock is, quite similarly, sherlock. they would be squaring off in a much less violent manner than homestuck and supernatural, but rather be passive aggressive and truly get on each others nerves, rather than just pushing a few buttons and then punching each other.
dont get me wrong - i LOVE superstuck. but i feel like homelock has a better potential to be a kismesis than superstuck.
while we’re on the topic: why i think superstuck can very easily become a matespritship.
supernatural is most certainly the type to hold grudges and hate with all his being, but is every demon bad? has every demon had a terrible motive, or was it sometimes for something good? has homestuck ever wanted anything more than to get friends and prank said friends? maybe, but spn doesnt know that. all he knows is that he judged too quickly and now hes noticing the rough texture of grey skin, the almost insect-like features of horns and sharp teeth and green green eyes, and before he knows it, he doesnt hate him. he’s intrigued, oh so intrigued, and it backfires on him.
meanwhile homestuck has no fuckin clue and his quadrants are messed up beyond belief.
