All you gotta do is soak a peel in some water and it will leech out after a few days...water your plants. The Earthwalker sunflowers are in bloom and so are the Hydrangeas! This year the Hydrangeas are a pretty shade of pink and purple. I used a banana peel potash mix with eggshells and a little bit of coffee grounds. DIY NATURAL FERTILISER 🌿⁣ Spring is here & it’s prime plant feeding time. I found a recipe for natural fertiliser that can be made while self isolating. Please note, I am no gardening expert, but I tried this last year & the plants are still happy. 😋⁣ ⁣ You'll need a combo of the below:⁣ • banana peels⁣ • used coffee grounds ⁣ • egg shells (optional)⁣ • water⁣ ⁣ Pop everything into the blender & pour over the soil of your plants. ⁣ Used coffee grounds are an excellent source of nitrogen, banana peels are rich in potassium & egg shells provide calcium. The recipe doesn't specify amounts, but I just used peels from 2 bananas, 4 eggshells & about half a cup of used coffee grounds with around 2 cups of water to loosen the mix. ⁣ Let me know how it goes. 🙂 I hope you're doing OK.
