Happy New Year! Have some colors for this piece ♥ HR co-creator @kerosenekate requested I get at least one image of Fawkes looking like less of a scruffy hobo, and the only time that ever happens is if he’s making an effort for his lady, Moira, or if she insists he sits still long enough for a trim and a haircut herself. Turns out he’s a handsome chap when he doesn’t look like he’s growing a shihtzu on his head. Consequently, moments like these, the pair of them find proper peace. Art by @javadoodle ♥

Pretty certain I could spend forever tweaking this, but I’m calling if for now: Here’s a fun little compilation of images I did from @moonshineovercowsheds and I’s Homerunners for Inktober. Took was was a quick, simple tutorial, and added multiple film effects, luma mats for the ink bleed effect, and learned a better way to use the 3D camera tool in AE thanks to my awesome hubs (Still need more practice with that beastie!)

I needed to do something for myself, so I drew one of my favorite faces. Sort of. Kind of Gina Torres, but with a few adaptations because she’s also the face of a character in my brain from an original fiction project, a badass lady named Jones Mercy. Because let’s face it, if you need a badass, strong woman...Gina Torres is your girl.

Some recent character musings for KateNY and I's story "Homerunners," whose first book now has a full first draft in the bag. LOVE this story so much. Included up top is my half of our recent art trade - Kate's character Moira Rooster. Below are WIP images of two of my characters, Piper and Fawkes.
