An Archive of Our Own, a project of the Organization for Transformative Works
Summary:
“If we’re both single by the time we’re 45, let’s spend the rest of our life together taking care of each other, loving each other.” Let’s get married, she doesn’t say, but it is heavily implied.
Hwa-jeong laughs — not unkindly, but amusedly — her head tilting back, her hands coming forward to clap together, the sound of her laughter a melody, a tune to which Cho-hui’s heart beats.
Against all odds, warmth blooms in Cho-hui’s chest. This is Hwa-jeong’s laugh before she hears something ridiculous and agrees to it anyway. Cho-hui leans forward to grip Hwa-jeong’s hands in hers.
Cho-hui mouths, I love you, I love you, I love you.
Cho-hui thinks, love me back, love me back, love me back.
OR: 4 times Cho-hui almost tells Hwa-jeong how she feels and one time she finally does.
The irony of tonight goes to the post i cant find from a few weeks back..
Tonight, I am hiding from my Hometown feels in Descendants of the Sun epilog thingy, because Hometown hurt me and Song Joong ki being adorbs on set is healing.
Also because I need to take a break from The Crowned Clown. Don't mind me *waves while hiding under fluffy blankets*
hometown cha cha cha has easily become one of my new favorite kdramas after ep 14. overall, the show is amazing but the way dushik and hyejin communicate so well with one another is so mature and you never are able to see that in regular kdramas. it’s so realistic and i’m over the moon about how they did the complete opposite of what everyone thought was going to happen. the simple break up, realize, and then get back together but they did the complete opposite. sure they took their time to think but they both knew they didn’t want to separate and hyejin decided to WAIT, which is something she knows she’s terrible at. she loves dushik so much she is willingly to wait for him to open up to her, as long as she knows there will be a time that he can. that is LOVE!!!!
giggling into my pillow with my feet up behind me in bed while watching hometown cha cha cha

Summary:
Cho-hui holds the duct tape in her hands instead and smiles, running her fingers coloured by balsam over it. “You’d said to me once that the weather of Gongjin and your mood are twined together. During a heavy storm, you end up feeling… heavy as well, gloomy and grey. You’d said that soup always helps you, so I… I made it for you.”
OR: Cho-hui and Hwa-jeong during the events of Episode 13.
