Dawan and Kim's relationship is so complex and messy. There are genuine layers to this. They meet and don't get along. Then their dad's run away together and at some point they start having shared lucid dreams. Then they become friends but in a very homoerotic way and they do increasingly gay things while swearing they are just friends. Also Kim worked for Dawan and Dawan is so dependant on her that she loses it when she quits which she equates to Kim leaving her and starts binge drinking and crying (after trying to strangle someone).

We know that they've known each other for 13 years and have lived together for atleast 5. But we also know that Dawan is mean to Kim at times because when people mention it she goes silent instantly. Yet Kim is so devoted to her she would basically sell her soul to some random women to save Dawans career instead of just talking to her about the issue. This might be the final boss of lesbian situationships.
