#34 Living with a Koala (Update)
This is an update to a previous How to going back to revisit blog #5 How to apply a filter to your internet connection. Having used the Koala safe filter for over six months the overall experience has been a very positive one. The little white box has provided stable wifi with configurable internet filtering which has been used daily by numerous devices and the filters have been very reliable.
During this time the developers of Koala safe also rolled out a number of updates to make the device easier to use. It's now possible to have a homework mode and a normal mode which allow schedules to be setup to turn off distractions like social media and games during homework time and then automatically restore access during free time. The schedule is very simple to setup and is also very easy to change from the mobile app.
