Behold two of our homeworld trio
In this universe ruby and Sapphire never became part of the crystal gems but that didn't stop the two from finding out that they loved each other and eventually they fused into garnet,since in homeworld fusion of different gems its forbidden,garnet had to pretend for thousands of years, that she wasnt a fusion but instead just a regular red garnet and work in the functions of one and everything was working perfectly until she was send to earth to arrest a small but powerful group of rebels that squaredot and amethyst had notified(since one of the jobs of a red garnet its to deal with rebellions and uprisings).
She never could had guessed that her life would change forever once she arrives on earth
Along side garnet,there is her loyal,submissive and obedient pearl,that connie will in the future call her iris from iridescent,as a way to differenciate bettween her pearl and homeworld pearl,different from our original pearl she never had the opportunity to become her own gem or even to belong to the gem she had a crush on,since in this universe pink diamond never broke pink pearl,pearl still has a crush on pink diamond dispite she knowing very well its a unrealistic dream,pearl was the only gem to know that garnet was a fusion.
But maybe after having an truce with the crystal gems and passing enough time with blue pearl,she will start to act more like the pearl we know and love.
Both gems are from white diamond's court since blue diamond was shattered
