Being on here is really a totally different experience than any other social media platform because famous people on Instagram & Co (who aren't celebrities like movie stars) are all just like "look at my attractive face or watch my comedy sketch and by the way this is today's sponsor".

Meanwhile some of the most famous people I follow on here are *checks notes* a bi demisexual British teenage girl who larps as satan, an alt Finnish trans guy in his 30s with severe adhd and an agender college graduate who makes weird tea and hosts a yearly ritual that (allegedly) kills political figures. I have seen neither of these people's faces nor have they ever tried to sell me a product. I like it here.

I saw a @homunculus-argument post reposted on instagram and the comments were surprisingly normal (not argumentative)? Everyone is enjoying the post and theres only two people talking about the actual science behind it (hrt) but in a productive way.
