About Suri:

Once upon a time Shadow was an idiot and got shot. This near-death experience kicked in an emergency asexual reproduction instinct. Surprise! You're a dad to a weird black arms salamander hedgehog baby now. Shadow was an idiot again and was brutally honest with Surprise about Black Doom and the Black Arms hivemind. They grew up dreading their future, knowing that Black Doom would inevitably return to claim them. Eventually they adopted the name Suri and decided they would serve Black Doom willingly to avoid having their mind taken over. They push their inherent good nature away, convinced that there's no point in having one and no way out of their fate.

About Sugar:

Sugar the Cat is a kindhearted fighter. Shes always known her mother, Mighty has not been around alot as a father, he is usually only focused on Matilda and Ray. She doesnt consider him a father at all, turning away from him and only calling him Mighty. She almost ignores his existence most of the time. He doesnt take time to hangout with her alone, and he wasnt there when she was younger. So she never considered him. Especially with the fact him and Honey are ex’s too, Honey basically raised her alone for years.
