⍟— The fiasco with the labyrinth was over, to his relief. The last thing John wanted was to land into the path of another Greek god, lord knows he wasn't on particularly great terms with the ones that he had met in the past, and those that held the gods close to them - Although he and Wonder Woman had talked, it seemed all she wanted to do was kick him in the bollocks whenever he came out with a snide comment (which was 99.9% of the time).
The now unveiled streets were an entirely new labyrinth for him to explore.
Snow covered landscapes, large industrial skyscrapers that gave him the air of nothing but pure lifelessness. There would usually be one or two lights on, but they were so far up that John could hardly spot them, if there were lights they were indeed dull.
Corporate dead landscape.
He could hear a sound, a faint murmur and spun around. Only to see nothing, but looks could be deceiving. There it was again, a grumble in the Earth that made the buildings shift around him. All of the stores seemed to move from place to place.
Quickly he bolted toward the nearest alley, turning round a sharp corner before-
WHAM
He smacked right into someone.
"Shitshitshit--" He rubbed his head. "Fucking hell, sorry mate!"

You have spent this maze making every attempt to separate yourself from your group as much as the set parameters will allow. Fortunately, winding corridors lend themselves nicely to escape, and you relish every sliver of solitude. After all, your selection of companions is... less than desirable.
Not the least of your problems is the gnawing hunger which has infected your being. It's all the fault of a certain purple douche - ghouls apparently eat humans to survive, and while under different circumstances you might be loath to judge someone for doing what's necessary to live, this desire for human flesh is incredibly irritating. You're not above eating a human, of course, but unfortunately, the logistics of this place make that particular task a bit difficult. Besides, you think Karkat would probably faint if he saw you chewing on a corpse, which would be fine except that his state would affect you as well. You honestly don't really feel like being unconscious right now.
Ah, but what's this... A delectable scent intoxicates you, something strangely familiar yet unlike anything you've ever smelled before. Okay, not the best description, but you're too hungry to worry about details. All you care about is finding the source and devouring it.
Rounding the corner, you catch a glimpse of your target, a human male with hair just past his chin. Your group... your group is probably taking a break or something. Their whereabouts matter little to you with this choice cut of meat within your grasp. You silently stalk your prey, trying to ignore how much you're salivating. But as your pulse races in the thrill of pursuit, you realize that for once, this unfortunate grouping has become a blessing. After all, how else would you be able to understand how absolutely delicious this man looks?

Thank you so much! With Walter this all means a lot to me, especially considering he isn't a very talkative person. Getting into his head is important, as well as how something could possibly be linked to past experiences and a lot of the time, he just thinks to himself about the situation and how hopeless the person in front of him/the world is.
