Drinking @pekoeteaco Midnight Pearl Oolong, a #hongshui style #taiwanesetea that is delicious. Very fruity and sweet with underlying nuttiness. It's very thick, one of those teas that when I'm drinking it I feel like I'm sinking into a hot bath, just utterly soothing, especially when I have a headache. I love this style #oolong it's so versatile, you can #gongfucha it, Grandpa steep it, Western... whatever you do to this tea it gives back fruity sweetness. #tea #teaofinstagram #yixing

Drinking @ecochateas #hongshui from the #ecochateaclub (a while ago!) With a sprinkle of @mountainroseherbs #meadowsweet flowers. It's a fun flavor combo, meadowsweet is pretty potent on its own so I like it blended, fun fact, meadowsweet has salicylic acid which was synthesized into aspirin, the flowers were used to keep a room smelling good, added to foods to give them a sweet almond taste/aroma, and of course back in the day before aspirin people chewed the roots to help with headaches. They are quite tasty flowers, I think next time I'll blend them with a green Oolong. #tea #teaofinstagram #gongfucha #flowertea #teablend #taiwanesetea #oolong #ecochateas
