ferryman would love them continuation of this post my thought about new angels designs. when i look at them i feel like they don't fit in ultrakill. they're really nice but they have such a loaded overdetailed designs that just don't match the rest of the game? especially archangels. and "gabriel stuck with the simpler old style of armor as a sign of discipline" is hardly a good excuse when new angels looks alien in comparison to gabriel. and their body shapes are so weird aren't they supposed to look more human due to lore? in gabriel's design there's one thing that is highly detailzed: the swords. because they're an important part of gabriel's character and we should pay attention to them. in new angels there's a huge amount of lines and shapes and little things here and there just to make it fancy. i adore and deeply love the simplified style of ultrakill and just really don't understand why they had to change the rules right at the end of the game for no reason
