Dear Devotees and Practitioners, This Is Important
Money Drawing Ritual
Arrange seven coins in a cross. Place four green candles on each end of the cross. Light the candles and meditate on your desire. Hold a pinch of Money drawing Ritual Powder in your hand while envisioning the outcome of your request.
Once you “feel” your powder is filled with energy, you can release it to the winds, dust it on your coin or sprinkle it on the earth.
You can also carry out this ritual while reciting Psalm 23. Ensure that your heart is focused on your desires and at the end of the ritual, your heart desires will be granted. If it doesn’t occur immediately, be patient and hopeful till the results come.
The money drawing powder can be used with a matching oil to aid the magical work. You can use the powders and oils in mojo bags and magical pouches. It can also be used in anointing candles, cleansing altars, tools and homes and charging amulets.
Ways of Using the Money Drawing Powder
Sprinkle this powder in your purse or wallet to attract money to you.
After bath, apply 7 drops of money drawing powder on your arms, chest, hands and feet.
You can scrub the powder on all your money notes, checkbook, bank statement and lottery tickets.
At home, sprinkle this powder near the front and back doors of the houses.
At your workplace, you can spray the powder at the four corners, windows and doors to attract customers.
Why Closed Practices ARENT Racist
Smudging
Voodoo
Hoodoo
Santeria
Brujeria
Ifa
Kulam
These are all apart of a long list of closed practices.
This means that unless you are:
•A Native American you CANNOT Smudge. Smudging is apart of an important ritual ceremony specific to Native Americans.
•A Black person you cannot practice Hoodoo, Ifa, or Voodoo
•A Latino/ Latino Black person you cannot practice Santa Muerte focused Brujeria or Santeria
“Well Lavenderlundi this is racist!”
“You can’t dictate other people’s practices!”
“So skin color determines what practices you can follow?!”
“Guess now Celtic paganism is only for white people.”
“If someone educates themselves on a closed religion and is respectful they can practice it.”
“If A God/Goddess/Spirit calls on a person they can work with them!”
These are common responses PoC often get from posts like this when we try to tell others to stay out of our closed cultures. And I’m going to explain why they are illogical and untrue.
“Well Lavenderlundi this is racist!”
Actually it’s not. The entire reason for closed cultures is for the preservation of said culture. As well as the fact that many of these cultures and religions are from minorities who’ve been either mass murdered, enslaved, pillaged, or exploited in some way by Europeans at some point in time or another. (Id also like to point out that that time is also now as poc face racism and discrimination and even death every day due to this.) The reason the culture that invented the spiritual practice and/or religion is the only one who can practice it is also because 1) They created it, it’s their right and 2) PRESERVATION OF CULTURE! Not like when white supremacy groups want to preserve
“white culture” but like how black and brown people have been forced to disown their own cultures for centuries and convert to white religions and cultures.
Yeah wasn’t expecting that were you. Moving on.
“You can’t dictate other people’s practices!”
Actually I’m not dictating anything. I’m spreading actual factual information. Cultural appropriation is harmful to minorities and their culture! Poc have been forced to give up their culture for generations! Even going as far as having their children taken away from them and put into conversion schools to wipe away their history and heritage. Similar things are happening today with the active injustices poc face so please don’t say “But why are you blaming me for what my ancestors did 100 years ago?!” I’m not I’m blaming you for what you are doing now in 2019. Which is appropriating closed cultural practices when you already have thousands of open practices.
“So skin color determines what practices you can follow?!”
Way to not read a single thing I said! Skin color determines NOTHING you can be the palest black person in the world and still be allowed to practice voodoo, Ifa, or any other closed CULTURAL practice. It’s about your CULTURE! Meaning you either have a mother or a father from that culture, you identify with said culture, and you work actively to improve the community outside and within that culture.
“Guess now Celtic paganism is only for white people.”
Ahhh my favorite. The most common response to telling non-poc that they can’t appropriate closed cultures and steal from other cultures.
Celtic paganism, Hellenistic paganism, Wicca, Christianity and any other European religion/practice is almost always 100% guaranteed to be open to anyone and you know how I know this?
Because back in the day Europeans spent half the time converting people to their religion.
ALSO hundreds of thousands of celts or Nordic practitioners aren’t begging and demanding nonceltic people to leave their practice alone. Also these practices aren’t being misrepresented or demonized by poc the same way our practices our.
“If someone educates themselves on a closed religion and is respectful they can practice it.”
If someone actually educated themselves and respected said closed religion then they WOULDN’T invade closed practices! Being respectful INCLUDES respecting actual practitioners and what they have to say! And if they actually educated themselves they wouldn’t be trying to jump on the culture culture bandwagon in the first place. They’d understand how important this practice is and respect that it is closed.
“If A God/Goddess/Spirit calls on a person they can work with them!”
Look I’m going to be honest. Half the time it when you wonder “Oh wow I feel this desire/urge to work with XYZ from a closed practice! What is this feeling?”
It’s your entitlement. Plain and simple. No deeper explanation needed.
There is a lot of racism and bias in the spiritual community and it’s disgusting how in 2019 I even have to explain this to people!
Respect people of color and their closed practices!
Domination Spells
Y'all seem to be really interested in spells like these and I’ve gotten so many requests to post more stuff like this. So, here are some of my best tips and tricks I’ve accumulated over the years to make spells like this work best.
In my experience, I have had the most success with black, purple, and red candles. Purple is used for domination spells often as it symbolizes power. Black absorbs all other colors and can be used as a stand-in for any spell. Red is often used in love spells but is underrated and under- utilized in domination and other defensive spells like tapa boca (shut up) ones in my opinion and for me has proven very successful.
If you are using a doll or person representation in a spell where you are trying to dominate someone, turn the doll upside down on its head. By putting your doll upside down it puts pressure on the target to bend to your will as well as shows them they are in your control and you have them turned upside down.
Cloves. While they resemble nails which is a plus (nail someone down/pinning someone down=controling them), they are a powerful agent in domination and defensive spells alike. In a glass-encased candle, I typically stick 5 on top, but powder can be used around a candle as well.
Alum works really well for sour jars and shut up spells, it is essential for me in these types of works.
High John the conquer oil, tame sheep, and bend over oil are all oils you can make or buy at a reputable botanica. These are my favorites to use, but it all depends on the type of work your doing. if it is a love domination spell, for example, you might be better off using something like bend over if you want your partner to be submissive to you.
Keep the petition with the person’s name that it is already dressed with your oils in your shoe. Now the person is literally beneath your feet as you assert your position over them.
These are just a few tips/tricks I have picked up over the years that I thought would be helpful. Happy casting!
