Leaving Kemeticism

I think I've lost my faith in the divine. I still believe in the craft, the Ancestors, etc. But looking at the world today and throughout all of history I find it increasingly difficult to find myself believing in any Goddess or God beyond that of Gaia -the Earth- herself.

This has honestly been a long time coming. I truly cannot wrap my head around there being any sort of Divine loving beings who allow so much suffering to be endured by so many innocent people. I am still a Spiritualist who practices Hoodoo and I do believe in the power of our Ancestors. But in this life I have lost faith. I will continue to support other spiritualists who have faith ofc♥ Love you all

The fact that literal medicine is growing in our backyards and they’re classified as “weeds” annoys me so fucking much.

How come whenever black people say that Hoodoo is closed to nonblack witches the FIRST THING white witches say is “Well then only white witches can practice Celtic/Hellenistic paganism (or any other OPEN European religion/spiritual practice).

Like it just shows how uneducated y’all are. Honestly. Celtic and Hellenistic paganism are OPEN practices. There is no requirements to join. Hoodoo was made by SLAVES, SLAVEESSSSS! I am hurt because THREE black people came onto this post to discuss why Hoodoo and Voodoo are closed practice to people of nonafrican descent.

I am hurt because an actual Haitian Voodoo practitioner came onto this post and spoke on how sacred their religion is and how it is closed and they were ignored and their comments were deleted.

I am hurt because our voices were ignored.

I am hurt because our input was mocked.

I am hurt because our comments were deleted and our replies ignored.

I am hurt because the voices of black people are meaningless to this white witch because they feel that we don’t matter.
