So after 24 hours,198 miles, two bouts of food poisoning, 3 sprained ankles and 2 hours of sleep we finally made it from Mt Hood to the coast. A life changing adventure on many levels it's been beautiful seeing people from different countries and walks of life come together to help each other reach a common goal. Without question one of the most inspiring running adventures I've ever experienced I'll never forget the feeling of the water around my burning toes when we finally reached the finish line. Full shouts to everyone who helped make the magic happen and for all the positive messages of support from around the world. This is a race number and medal that definitely won't be tucked away in a drawer and forgotten about to gather dust. In moments of doubt I will think back to the last 24 hours and rewind the memories until the smiles return again. Running is a great metaphor for life and Hood To Coast is a an amazing reminder of what can happen when people put others first and come together to help each other be the best that they can be. From London, Paris, Copenhagen, New York, Amsterdam and Hong Kong to the Coast we did it people. Full salutes to the #bridgethegap movement and all my Nike Fam. We did it. Salutes, salutations and Big up. One love Daddy Dark #h2c #hoodtocoast13 #runfree #runfly #rundemcrew #rdc #h2c13
