***SPOILERS FOR THE SERIES FINALE!!!***

Hoo boy. The time has finally come... the last chapter of the book - the end of Friendship is Magic. BUT, that doesn't mean the end of the fandom! No, the fandom will always exist to those who let it... besides, there's still plenty on the way - Generation 5 might be promising, we've got Season 10 in comic form, and I've still got plenty of comics/projects to complete! So really, don't think of it as the end, more like the beginning of something even better - something we make all our own.
Jasper's ACTUAL Thoughts: ...I WANTED to cry, but I couldn't... I feel bad that I couldn't because this was a really satisfying ending! It felt like the series came to a complete circle - Twilight Sparkle -once a promising student who didn't see the value of friendship- now sharing her wisdom with her own student with the same issues... and the stress of Twilight moving out of Ponyville to pile on top! First I wanna talk about the flashback scenes... very well executed! The emotional turmoil of Twilight moving away and the worrying of how it'll affect their friendship... and how they try to hide their pain... though it kinda doesn't help ^^;. And as for Twilight's SECOND coronation... kinda feels like a symbol of the show itself - it's not perfect, but it's definitely one for the history books and something we can all enjoy. I think the moral of the final episode really hits home - change is scary, but it doesn't mean the end of everything you love, and you don't have to go through it alone... a fitting metaphor for the show ending and a new generation beginning and for the fandom/friendship in general -they don't have to fade away as long as you put in the effort to keep them alive. As for the future stuff.... there's too much to talk about!! So here are my personal highlights - Spike got BUFF over the years ^^, Pinkie and Cheese Sandwich had a baby... AND IS A CUTE FAMILY!!! (I dunno why, Pinkie looks cute with a mommy-fro). Looks like Fluttercord and YonaBar are a thing... but is AppleDash canon? I don't know why, but the way they were talking about doing chores kinda gives me a signal that they MIGHT have a thingy going on.... personally, I'd have gone with RariJack, but beggars can't be choosers. ...Nyeh!!! TOO MANY FUTURISTIC EASTER EGGS!!! If you want to ask me about a specific one, you might need to bring it up in the comments ^^; ...ok, if I have to complain about ONE thing, not too fond of Twilight turning into a grape-flavored Celestia recolor.... though I guess it had to come with the territory of inheriting both princess' powers and crown. In the meantime, with this, the last of the original HUB Channel giants... ending with a symbolic closing of the book from the very first episode (REALLY LOVE that bonus touch). Where do we go from here.... what did I literally just say? :P
